Worst "Citizen Journalism" Evah!

The St. Louis Tea Party loves to talk about how they're "the future of journalism." If they're right, we will all be reduced to drooling vegetables a couple decades from now. Check out this amazingly lame "journalism" from Loesch:

Let's see, we have an inaudible tape of a guy that we don't know allegedly saying something that's not really that big of a deal... followed by a dramatic zoom in on an Obama button! Ooooh, so tech savvy! And to top it all off, Loesch co-opts Pink Floyd for her video. Yeah, I'm pretty sure The Wall was all about how awesome mindless patriotism and war-mongering are!

  1. Why is everyone so afraid of being a socialist? If you somehow think socialist is a slur, then you don't know what it is! To paraphrase Anne Keefe from Donnybrook: yeah I'm a socialist, so what? I've been a socialist my whole life and I am a very nice person!

  2. HAHAHA! I am completely unsurprised that Dana Loesch doesn't understand The Wall (and in particular the part she used), despite her belief that she is So Deep and knows All Things Music. Of course, her audience is unlikely to know The Wall very well, anyway.

On a related note, despite her claims that the cops were pushing back only the pro-HCR crowd at the demonstrations the other night, I'm pretty sure I saw her on TV being contained...

  3. Oh wait, I just saw her in her jackboots in your previous post. Yep, it was definitely her the cops were telling to move back.

  4. I didn't know that these idiots were claiming journalism as their own? Maybe because of those fools who doctored (edited) their acorn tapes to make it look like ACORN was willing to abet prostitution (see http://www.salon.com/news/politics/war_room/2010/03/02/breitbart/index.html and http://www.bradblog.com/?p=7675 for information about the vindicatin of ACORN in court)? Anyone can commit fraud; Tea Party type radio, etc. seems to be little more than invective and insult - no journalism there.

  6. did you see the video in columbus ohio with the tea partier's there mocking a man with apparent parkinson's syndrome? Wonder if Dana Loesch is proud to be a part of a movement that does that kind of stuff. course i can't ask her because she blocked my twitter account. i guess she only cares to hear from the dittoheads who agree with her, can't take any criticism.

  7. Craig-

She has always been like that. She puts herself in the place of the victim and says we are attacking her, when the truth, she just absolutely, positively cannot admit when she is wrong.
